These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the JLRegis GeoSurvey website, MapCad platform, and related surveying, mapping, drafting, coordinate conversion, and file processing tools made available through this application.

User Terms

1. Acceptance of Terms

2. Permitted Use

This platform is intended for lawful professional, educational, and project-related use in surveying, mapping, CAD, GIS, coordinate transformation, and related engineering workflows.

  • Use the tools only for legitimate and authorized purposes.
  • Upload only data and files that you are authorized to use and submit.
  • Ensure that project data entered into the system is accurate and suitable for processing.

3. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Reviewing and verifying all computed coordinates, generated files, and derived outputs.
  • Checking field, design, and construction suitability before relying on any output.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of their own credentials, project files, and uploaded data.
  • Ensuring uploaded content does not infringe any third-party rights.

4. Technical Outputs

Outputs generated by this platform, including transformed coordinates, DXF processing results, KMZ/KML files, geometric data, and draft mapping content, are provided as working outputs and must be independently checked before field use, submission, staking, fabrication, or construction reliance.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Attempting to disrupt, damage, overload, or interfere with the platform.
  • Uploading malicious files, unauthorized content, or unlawful material.
  • Attempting to access restricted areas, source code, or private project data without authorization.
  • Using the platform in a way that violates applicable laws, regulations, or contract obligations.

6. Intellectual Property
